The warm, natural wood makes getting started easy and helps even the youngest riders discover the joy of cycling. Thanks to its low standover height of just 30 cm, the Lite is ideal for safe first rides on two wheels.
The Lite introduces itself
Not all wooden wheels are the same.
Marine Super-Ply – the same material used for boats, jetties, and garden furniture. It lasts a lifetime outdoors. And that's precisely why we use it for our wooden balance bikes. Because our balance bikes are meant to make more than just one child happy.
The material is incredibly versatile: it does not warp, shrink, or rot – and thanks to its continuous core, there are no hidden weak points that could cause problems later.

Weatherproof – and if necessary: boil-proof
Sure, we don't recommend boiling the Lite, but we've built our wheels to withstand any eventuality. We use WBP adhesive for our wheels. WBP stands for Weather and Boil Proof and ensures that no water penetrates, regardless of the temperature. This is especially important in humid climates where rain can turn even the sturdiest wood to mush within months.
Additionally, the adhesive protects against mold growth – in case the bike is left out in the rain.

Two-stage steering system
The two-stage steering system helps children learn to drive safely – without hindering their development.
In level 1, the steering angle is limited. This makes it easier for beginners to maintain control, stay balanced, and quickly gain confidence through initial successes.
Once the basics are in place, the steering can be released – for more agility, new freedom and the next dose of adventure.

Every detail of the Lite is truly lovingly designed for durability and functionality. There is no feature, no embellishment, and no design element that doesn't serve a purpose.
The flame pattern is burned in – because stickers tend to peel off over time. The vegan leather seat is embroidered rather than printed, because prints flake and fade. The brass is also hardened – for greater durability and with a distinctive, deep rust tone that, incidentally, looks really good.

Roll gently
The Lite rolls on 1.75-inch wide, smooth-rolling tires that give 2- to 4-year-olds the stability they need for learning, the air volume for the necessary comfort, and the grip to confidently ride on mixed terrain, even in the rain. Because there's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong balance bike.
