Super powerful and dynamic Bosch Performance Line CX e-drive

Thanks to the Bosch Performance Line CX drive system, you can ride even more trails in the same amount of time. The powerful drive unit supports you with up to 85 Nm of torque, ensuring fun even uphill. Even with the motor providing full support, your FOCUS SAM² 6.8 remains easy to control, even on the most demanding trail sections. The 750 Wh slide-out battery can be charged via the integrated charging port on the e-MTB's seat tube. Alternatively, you can easily and quickly remove the battery without any tools. Simply unlock the cover's buckle and fold it to the side to pull the battery out using the tab.

Bike design for optimal performance in every situation

Thanks to its long wheelbase and slack head angle, the FOCUS SAM² 6.8 offers exceptional stability, even at high speeds on challenging terrain. It boasts a perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio, requiring only a minimal opening in the downtube for battery removal. Furthermore, the battery is positioned as low as possible within the downtube. This frame design optimizes the bike's center of gravity, resulting in significantly improved stability on descents. The low standover height provides ample freedom of movement on your e-MTB, allowing you to effortlessly tackle technical terrain. By rotating the headset caps, you can adjust the head angle of your FOCUS SAM² 6.8 from 64.5° to 63.5° to perfectly suit your riding preferences.

The kinematics of our FOCUS SAM² 6.8 are designed for the toughest descents. Our FOLD (FOCUS Optimised Linkage Design) kinematics are the heart of the bike and are specifically optimized for its intended use. They allow the integrated coil shock to function perfectly. With 180/170 mm of travel, a suspension fork with 38 mm stanchions, and fast 29" wheels, nothing stands in the way of uncompromising downhill riding.
