The Focus Sam² is built to shred the toughest terrain. Nevertheless, it was crucial for Focus to preserve the Sam² DNA: maintaining a balance between uphill and downhill capabilities. The seat angle was chosen for excellent climbing performance, and the wheel size for optimal traction and rollover characteristics. The flip chip option allows for adjustments for those who want a more radical ride. This is the formula for Focus's new definition of e-enduro.

Super powerful and dynamic e-assistance. The efficient Bosch Performance CX e-drive (Gen. 4) provides a powerful 85 Nm of torque up to 25 km/h. Bosch's most powerful e-motor is perfectly integrated, making the SAM² agile and maneuverable. In eMTB mode, the motor optimally adjusts the assistance to your power output. Thanks to the integrated, removable 625 Wh battery, you can ride all your favorite trails again and again.

Optimal suspension performance for every situation. The FOLD suspension system is specifically tuned to the increased demands of a downhill-oriented e-MTB. This also guarantees the perfect mix on the Focus Sam² e-enduro: FOLD responds extremely sensitively, yet still offers enough progression to prevent bottoming out.

Made for descents. With modern, downhill-oriented geometry, 170 mm of travel, and fast 29" wheels, the Focus Sam² is built for the toughest downhill trails. Its downhill focus is further emphasized by the suspension fork with 38 mm stanchions. In addition, the fully integrated CIS cable routing ensures a clean cockpit, and thanks to the Focus Flip Chip, there's the option to run 27.5" wheels and super-short chainstays (430 mm).
