The Classic introduces itself

The Classic is made from 100% grade A birch wood, which is sustainably sourced and stands for robustness, durability and timeless beauty.
Bonded with WBP adhesive for moisture and mold resistance, it is ideally equipped for a long service life – even under the harshest, damp conditions.
Our patented two-stage steering system supports the safe development of driving skills, while durable details such as hardened brass and embroidered vegan leather further enhance the classic appeal.
With aluminium rims, smooth-running bearings and wide tires, the Classic offers stability and performance that inspire and delight for a long time.

No composite materials. No compromises.

The Classic is made from 100% grade A birch from Northern Europe. We don't stretch it with fillers or glue together wood scraps to imitate wood – we use real wood. Sustainably sourced and made for lasting quality.

Birch is ideal: stable, lightweight, splinter-free – and perfect for children. Thanks to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, the bike is easy to handle without the weight affecting its balance. And it looks good too: finely grained, smooth, and free of knots.

Weatherproof – and if necessary: boil-proof

Sure, we don't recommend boiling the Classic, but we've built our wheels to withstand any eventuality. We use WBP adhesive for our wheels. WBP stands for Weather and Boil Proof and ensures that no water penetrates, regardless of the temperature. This is especially important in humid climates where rain can turn even the sturdiest wood to mush within months.
Additionally, the adhesive protects against mold growth – in case the bike is left out in the rain.

Two-stage steering system

The two-stage steering system helps children learn to drive safely – without hindering their development.

In level 1, the steering angle is limited. This makes it easier for beginners to maintain control, stay balanced, and quickly gain confidence through initial successes.

Once the basics are in place, the steering can be released – for more agility, new freedom and the next dose of adventure.

Like many of the best ideas, this one is surprisingly simple.

Beautiful, durable details – with function

Every detail of the Classic is lovingly designed for durability and functionality. There is no feature, no embellishment, and no design element that doesn't serve a purpose.

The flame pattern is burned in – because stickers tend to peel off over time. The vegan leather seat is embroidered rather than printed, because prints flake and fade. The brass is also hardened – for greater durability and with a distinctive, deep rust tone that, incidentally, looks really good.

“Roll model”

The Classic is equipped with market-leading aluminum rims and hubs that save weight, as well as high-quality, sealed ABEC cartridge bearings that minimize rolling resistance.
This allows us to consciously invest in slightly more tire mass – for more grip, safety and driving performance – without compromising the overall weight.

Roll gently

The Classic features a smooth-rolling 14" x 1.75" tire at the front and an extra-wide 12.5" x 3" tire at the rear. This combination offers children between 2 and 4 years old just the right amount of stability for learning, enough air volume for comfort, and the necessary grip to ride safely on various surfaces, even in wet conditions. Because there's no such thing as bad weather – only the wrong balance bike.
