It's no surprise that major races like the Tour de France are won in the mountains. There, the fittest and fastest climbers can gain the most time on the competition and create the time gaps necessary for victory. A big part of Team Jumbo-Visma's plan for 2023 was to ensure that eventual winner Jonas Vingegaard had the lightest bike. Therefore, it's no surprise that Jonas equipped his Cervelo R5 with a Reserve tubular wheelset, the 36|39. This wheelset offered the perfect balance between weight, stability, and aerodynamics, enabling Team JV to win the TDF consecutively.
Note: Tubular wheels like the Reserve 36|39 require tubular tires, which are glued to the rim during installation. Tubeless or tube-like tires are not compatible with the Reserve 36|39.
